At the age of 67, Big B has become the ultimate face of India internationally. Identifying his immense fan following across the globe NDTV has awarded him the trophy of NDTV Indian of the Year. The star studied evening honored & felicitated a lot of personalities from the film fraternity.

While SRK was awarded ‘Male Icon of Indian Film, Industry,’ Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was announced the females one. A.R. Rahman who is now a Grammy & Academy Award winner was called the ‘Global Entertainer.’

Besides the veterans, the younger stars were also conferred with various titles. Ranbir Kapoor was voted as the ‘Male Entertainer for the Year’ and Priyanka Chopra, the female one. Anurag Kashyap proudly bagged the ‘Special Jury Award.’ KJo joined in the league with the title of ‘Social Networking Icon for the Year.’

NDTV has become a big venture in the past few years, especially after its partnership with Dharma Productions. Their long list of entertainment and lifestyle channels is gaining popularity and success day after day. This award function was a celebration of NDTV’s influential position in the media.
