Shahrukh Khan never tires of tweeting we know, but what is he doing apart from tweeting now a days? Once a workaholic and three movies a year, Shahrukh is quite conspicuously absent from the recent picture of Bollywood. Though he was once listed as one of the fifty most powerful people in the world, his ranking in Bollywood is surely at stake. [ad#post]
There was a time when every girl wanted to be his Kkkk…kiran, but not now. A number of budding young stars keep breathing on his shoulders; Ranbir Kapoor being one of them. What forces Mr. Khan to do one movie at a time and even worse one movie a year? The answer is not dubious. His constant flops give him time to think to do one movie a year.

His failure does not lie in his films but in his produced films. In 1999, with Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza, Shahrukh Khan set up his production company, Dreamz Unlimited up. The very first two films from his production house, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and ‘Asoka’ were beaten at the box office. Even his production house Red Chillies Entertainment’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders proved to be a bit of a failure though it did help his public image till some extent.
Shahrukh’s television stint was also not very sounding. Shah Rukh hosted Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? And earlier Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 failed to make a good television prospect. He is no more such kind of hero who can lift a film only by himself. He needs his co-actors to be good to make success in the box office. Hope this break from Bollywood would be good for him. His upcoming superhero flicks ‘Ra.One’ being directed by Anubhav Sinha and ‘Don 2′ being directed by Farhan Akhtar have to do well in the box office for Shah Rukh Khan to regain some of his past glory back as the ultimate superstar of Bollywood.

I think it is at stake, and I think it was at stake after the release of chak de india. I think its time to move on with the fact that he is no longer eligible. I personally feel he is damn good artist ever a movie industry can have. But by having equal opportunities with fellow artists would be more beneficial to the industry and Indian market.guys what do you think.

i think that shah rukh khan will always be KING KHAN ,the king of bollywood….i addore his movies and there will never be any one who will ever "beat" him on this…he is the best…every artist needs to have a break,to refind himself….to have new ideas.he is not just an artist,he is a human been too…he has a family and kids and maybe he feels that he has to spend some more time with his family…i love u shah rukh and u will always be the best actor ever!kiss!!!

i don't know everyone has his or her own opinion, but i don't think that Shahrukh has given us any flops in recent years. HELLO didn't any body watch my name is khan. and to be honest i personally think that chakde india and my name is khan are his best performances to date. as far as giving only one film a year i think that is cool becuase he will have time for family. anyway that is just my opinion.

I agree. But it’s about time that he delivered a block buster movie. Like the other Khans.
