Jhoota Hi Sahi Music Review – Download Latest Hindi Music

Jhootha Hi Sahi a recently released Hindi movie had songs which were composed by A.R Rahman. Therefore, reviewing this Bollywood music album was difficult. It’s Rahman you’re reviewing. The songs can never ‘bad.’ You’ll always like them a little bit even if they sound like the strangest thing in the world. His reputation is impeccable, number of fans huge. You can be sure of one thing though – you will not dislike any song. Perhaps that’s why A.R Rahman is what he is.

Jhootha hi Sahi Music Review – Rahman’s latest offering

The album starts with ‘Cry Cry’, a simple song that is surely going to be a hit. Though I didn’t like the lyrics of the song much, the message the song gives is good and Rashid Ali and Shreya Ghosal’s singing is sweet.

Maiyya Yashoda’ is perhaps more enjoyable. Rahman gets in his signature folksy groove here but the song is nothing like ‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’, even though it reminds one of Lagaan. Anyway, pleasant music again.

Hello Hello, is Rahman’s own Karthik calling Karthik. The song talks of a phone and is sung by Karthik. Though Hello Hello may not sound too striking at the outset, the tunes start growing on you.

‘Do Nishaniyaan’ brings us the wonderful combination of Rahman and Sonu Nigam again, an old partnership. An unhurried, supple and touching song, one suddenly wakes up when the words talk about a ‘phone’ in dreamy lyrics. Give it a couple of honest hearings and you will definitely like the song.

Pam pa ra is definitely not the best song of the album. Oh, you know what I mean. The song sung by Shreya Ghoshal with Suzanne D’Mello is neither as catchy as Lattoo and nor has the attitude of Aye Bachchoo, and still sounds something like them both.

Next in line is I’ve been waiting, a composition of Vijay Yesudas. The track shifts smoothly between English and Hindi lyrics. It is evident how much Vijay loves his simple singing in the song. Part romantic, part classical and part experimental, this is a classic A.R Rahman track.

What seems to be the trend of recent Bollywood music albums, of remixes and reprises, is kept up in Jhootha Hi Sahi too. There’s the Maiyya Yashoda (Thames Mix), Heartbreak reprise (remix of Do Nishaniyaan)

The last song of the album, and my favourite at that, is Call me dil – Jhootha hi Sahi. This is a double title song as it takes in both, the earlier title of the movie ‘Call me Dil’ and the final title ‘Jhootha hi Sahi.’ I won’t say much about the song, just listen to it.

Conclusion

On the whole, Jhootha hi Sahi is a decent creation of Rahman. Nothing spectacular, not hum drum either. The music is, as usual, excellent. The album starts pleasantly, and ends delightfully.
