Directed by the debutant director Anthony D’souza the film Blue is about a lost treasure which three friends try to find. There a are a number of hurdles and obstacles they have to overcome while obtaining the lost treasure so much so they face a lot of betrayal and deceit among themselves. The movie is an underwater action thriller, and since most of the action is underwater, the film is thus named Blue. Being one of the most expensive Hindi film, it costs around a whopping 130 crores. The film has all the hot stars, mainly, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Zayed Khan being the three bad guys. Akshay and Sanjay play the role of fishermen who are based in the Bahamas, and Zayed Khan, the flamboyant investor, joins these two in the treasure hunt. Lara Dutta plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s wife while Katrinas character has grey shades to it.
